About

Hello! My name is Jazmin Ramos. What began as a personal goal eventually grew into something I never imagined—a career dedicated to helping both horses and riders reach their full potential. I'm incredibly grateful that I now have the opportunity to share this passion with others every day.

Over the past ten years, I've had the privilege of studying under accomplished professionals, including FEI trainers Maggie Broekman and Lisa Marie Bishop, as well as respected horseman Greg Robinson. My background includes western riding, dressage, and show jumping, and I believe every discipline has something valuable to offer. Rather than teaching one style exclusively, I draw from each to build balanced, confident riders with a strong foundation in horsemanship.

One of the things I enjoy most is working with anxious or uncertain horses. Watching a horse gain confidence, relax, and let its personality shine is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. The same is true for riders. Whether someone is returning to horses after years away or climbing into the saddle for the first time as an adult, I believe confidence is built through patience, consistency, and thoughtful instruction.

I also believe that great instruction goes beyond teaching someone how to ride. My goal is to help every student become an independent horseman or horsewoman—someone who understands the "why" behind what they're doing, communicates effectively with their horse, and gains the confidence to continue learning both inside and outside the arena.

Professionalism, honesty, and transparency are at the core of everything I do.  I work hard to create an environment where expectations are clear, communication is open, and both horses and clients are treated with respect. Building trust is just as important to me as building riding skills.

Whether you're pursuing your first riding lesson, returning to the sport after time away, looking to improve your horsemanship, or searching for thoughtful training for your horse, I'd be honored to be part of your journey. I look forward to helping you build confidence, develop lasting skills, and enjoy everything the horse-human partnership has to offer.
